Through the Soviet city

I suggest you go on a tour of VDNKH, which has started playing with new colors after recent renovation work. I will introduce you to the history of this iconic metropolitan location on an informative walk through its alleys, and together we will enjoy the unusual architecture of the pavilions. I will tell you about the development and formation of VDNH, we will see the impressive monuments and gorgeous fountains, and study the frescoes in detail. 

My story will touch not only on the past, but also on the recent restoration: metamorphoses in the guise of a legendary exhibition, the scope of works and achievements of the masters.

From the main arch, we will proceed to the Cosmos pavilion. I will tell you a lot of remarkable things about the fountains «Friendship of People» and «Stone Flower», and the idea and embodiment of the sculptures «Worker and collective farmer», «Tractor driver and collective farmer lady», «Conquerors of space» will find context, becoming more comprehensible.

As part of the tour, we will look at a number of pavilions, we will talk about what embodiments of ideas in architecture the authors found, what is hidden in the details.
